FRS Geotech, Inc. is a geological laboratory specializing in asbestos analysis. It is owned and operated by three geologists with 18 years of combined experience in the analysis of both bulk and air samples, and over 40 years of combined experience in the fields of mineralogy, petrology, and general field geology. FRS is a full service optical microscopy laboratory. We analyze various types of samples for asbestos using the following techniques: PLM (polarized light microscopy) analysis of bulk samples. Point Count analysis (quantification) of asbestos bulk samples. PCM (phase contrast microscopy) analysis of air filter samples. ID-160 (OSHA PLM method) for the analysis of air filter samples.
